Gardening your own fruits and vegetables is so much more satisfying and fun. As a beginner, you always have to remember to start small because success comes with small tries. There are many varieties of fruits that you can grow easily as a beginner. If you ask me, you should always start from your own experience. As human beings, we all have a little experience with gardening. If you ask me, I grew up in a farming family, and because of that, I learned from them how to grow vegetables and fruits. They did not teach me how to grow vegetables or fruits; I learned from watching them. Just like that, you must have some experience that you learned from your family. Always try to start with that experience, as it can be the key to beginning your gardening journey. However, I will tell you about a few fruits that you can grow easily as a beginner in your garden.

Strawberries

Strawberries are also known for their sweetness. You can grow strawberries at any time of the year. They are also very easy to grow in home gardens and containers. I grew lots of strawberries in my containers. There is no specific time to grow strawberries, but early to mid-spring or early autumn are the ideal times to plant strawberries for a good harvest. As a beginner, you can grow strawberries easily because growing strawberries does not require specific space. You can grow them in small containers and small places. Strawberries are a very popular fruit. Many people think that growing strawberries can be hard work or a waste of money. Well, that information is very wrong. Every process of growing strawberries is very easy. You can buy strawberry seeds from the local market, or you can also propagate your strawberries. Every process of growing strawberries is so easy. So, I suggest that as a beginner, you should grow strawberries. That can help you a lot to learn about

Raspberries

Raspberries are also one of the best fruits that you can grow as a beginner. I have been growing vegetables and fruits for almost ten years. If I could go back in time and had to choose a fruit to grow as a beginner, I would definitely choose raspberries. They are super sweet and so easy to grow. Raspberries are so awesome and fun to grow because they come in many different colors. Another interesting part about raspberries is that they can grow in poor soil and also grow like weeds. They are also super cheap to come by. Raspberry plants grow suckers, so this will grow out of the land and become its own raspberry plant. If you want to buy a good quality raspberry plant, you can buy one from a nursery for only 6 or 7 dollars. I grew some yellow raspberries; they are super easy to grow and do not attract birds. I have both summer-bearing and fall-bearing raspberries, so in some locations in the country, you can harvest raspberries from summer all the way up until frost.

Blueberries

The third fruit that all beginners should grow is blueberries. Well, blueberries take a little longer to fruit compared to strawberries and raspberries. We all know that blueberries are native to North America; that’s why they are super easy to grow. The most interesting part about blueberries is that after you plant them in the ground, they will produce fruit for you for about 50 years. Blueberries are like a plant that, after planting, if you leave it for one year and come back, you will see blueberries on the bush. So they don’t require that much attention. That’s the reason I have lots of blueberry bushes in my garden. In my opinion, you must plant blueberries as a beginner, and you will have a better harvest than expected.

Kumquats

If you are a beginner in gardening, you must try kumquats. Kumquats are one of the easiest fruits that you can grow. When some people ask what they should plant as a beginner, kumquats have always been one of my first choices for suggestions. Kumquats are actually a variety of citrus; they might look like mini oranges, but they are not oranges at all. They are completely different species. There are many reasons why you should plant kumquats. The first reason is that kumquats grow in every kind of soil. They also have a huge climate range; they can withstand both hot and cold conditions. You can also grow kumquats in pots or containers, and they are very popular in China. So, as a beginner, I would advise you to grow kumquats.
