For your information, onions take about 90 to 100 days to become mature. That means you cannot harvest onions before 80 days. After 80 days, about three months later, you can harvest your onions. If you ask me when I harvest my onions, I always wait 90 to 95 days. After 90 days, I start to harvest onions, and I always yield healthy and good onions. That means you will have your onions in late summer. If you wish to grow bulb onions, they will take 100 to 125 days to complete maturity. After 100 to 125 days, you can harvest bulb onions.
